To conclude my Vanguard Gamer Day report I’ve compiled a list of various other facts and tidbits that I learned along the way: Vanguard will be released in Q1 2007 The European launch will as soon after the North American launch as possible (localization takes time) Players from anywhere in the world can play on any server regardless of the server’s geographical location Vanguard will not be released on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 The adventuring classes of Berserker and Inquisitor will not be in at launch (per Darrin McPherson) The crafting class of Alchemist will not be in at launch (per Salim Grant) A single character can be an adventurer, crafter, and diplomat The amount of characters per server/account has not yet been defined Server capacity will be between 3,000 and 5,000 Expansions will be released every 9-12 months Free content pushes are targeted for release on a monthly basis Approximately 10,000 people have currently been invited to beta Beta testers will receive recognition for their contributions with an in-game item at launch Vanguard’s foundation has been laid and now Sigil is working on completing the content drive and polishing up the game That´s it for Vanguard Gamer Day!
