Might I point you to Rindol Field where you are fighting Brownies or Brennan´s Stead and Brodinar´s Cleft, where you are fighting Kobolds, each by level four. Or, you stay in the less than finished newb zone and can walk a little further than about 300 meters and see the wolves, boars, lizards, bugs (several varieties, no less). If you are feeling very adventurous you can walk about one chunk away to the Elven Magic School, which is a "crushbone style" dungeon.
